Micropiles

Once the excavation was done, PLI Systems moved in to drive the micropiles. Here, they are in the guest bedroom area.

The pilings are a steel core and drill bit with a holow center through which they pump water to clean the hole, then pump a rich concrete slurry to encase the steel, creating the micropile.

We've got verticals in our footings, a few angled ones in the footings and some angled piles high up in the walls.

The truck on the road above is where they mix the slurry that encases the steel.
