Once the excavation was done, PLI Systems moved in to drive the micropiles. Here, they are in the guest bedroom area. The pilings are a steel core and drill bit with a holow center through which they pump water to clean the hole, then pump a rich concrete slurry to encase the steel, creating the micropile. We've got verticals in our footings, a few angled ones in the footings and some angled piles high up in the walls. |
