Framing -- November
November is the month of rafters.
We got started early in the month with these massive glu-lam beams over whic h the rafters will run. .
Then we started with the I-joists and outriggers (the blocking that forms the overhangs along the eaves. As you can see, the November weather has treated us nicely.
Here we are in the third week of November, with all the rafters and most of the outriggers in place.
Next week we'll start installing the sub-facia -- the 2x12s along the perimeter. Once that's done, we'll get plywood on the roof and then install the cedar facia.
